My name is Ben May. I grew up in Pensacola, Florida. I am married to my wonderful wife, and together we have three children. My story includes seasons where I was caught up in the noise of revival culture, only to realize it could never give the depth and rest my soul needed. But God, in His kindness, drew me deeper into the doctrines of grace and the sufficiency of His Word. Today I serve as a lay elder at Grace Reformed Church in Spring Hill, Tennessee, while running my own woodworking business full time. The name War Behind the Curtain captures both my story and my purpose. Scripture reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the unseen powers at work behind the scenes. My desire in all I write is to help people see Christ more clearly, rest in His finished work, and find hope in God’s grace as we live in the midst of that battle.
